After a series of students show up to school drunk, Principal Figgins decids to host an alcohol awareness week. And he asks the glee club to perform a song that talks about the dangers of underage drinking. But only finding songs that promote drinking means the glee club will have to think outside of the box.
Party at Rachel’s House
Meanwhile, Rachel is struggling to write an original song for nationals. When Puck discovers that her parents are away for the weekend, he encourages her to have a party. At first, she’s reluctant. But she soon realizes that she needs more new experiences in order to write a quality song, so she agrees.
Spin the Bottle
When the glee club arrive for the party, Rachel tries to lay down some ground rules, only allowing two drinks per person. But she eventually lets go and has her first drunken experience. During a game of spin the bottle, Rachel winds up kissing Kurt’s crush, Blaine. While drunk, there are definite sparks. Even Blaine feels it. So later, Rachel asks Blaine out on a date. Kurt doesn’t support this date, positive that Blaine is just confused. Even though the date goes well, Rachel decides to kiss Blaine sober to make sure the sparks were real. But one kiss tells Blaine that he is definitely gay.
Hangover Cure
On the Monday after the party, the glee club is still hung over. Artie offers everyone caesars as a hangover cure. But the relief is short lived, and the glee club wind up buzzed again while performing a song for Mr. Schuester.
Drunk Dial
When Will finds out that Emma and Carl are buying a house, he needs some cheering up. Coach Beiste takes Will to a country bar, where Will gets so drunk that he later attempts to make a drunk dial to Emma. Unfortunately, he calls Sue instead, leaving her a message that Sue plays over the intercom at school the following week.
Tick Tock Barf
At the alcohol awareness week assembly, Rachel offers a shot of whiskey mixed with a combination of other things to take away their nerves. On stage, the glee club perform Tick Tock by Ke$ha. But halfway through, Brittany throws up all over Rachel, and Santana follows suit. Principal Figgins calls the glee club into his office and they are certain that they’ll be suspended—including Will. But the principal thinks that the on-stage puking was just a special effect, and congratulates them for making alcohol awareness week a success.
